2010 To Do List

Most people don't stick to their New Year's resolutions. Scott doesn't make any, unless of course he knows he can actually complete them. Last year his one and only resolution was to find a new job, and within the first three months of 2009, he completed it! I've decided to come up with a "2010 To Do List", for my New Year's resolutions. The top of my list starts off with a little gift I got for Christmas.

Kristina's 2010 To Do List

1. Capture Memories with my family and friends.

My parents gave me a cute and fancy new camera for Christmas. Not only does it take amazing photos, but it also takes HD videos. I know some people aren't fond of having their pictures taken, but just fair warning: if you'll be hanging out with me in 2010, you can bet I'll be taking a picture of you.

2. Take a vacation with my husband (take more than one if possible).

Scott and I have plans to go to Hawaii this year, but we have no definite plans at the moment. This is also the first year that we don't have a plan for our anniversary. So sometime between now and December we'll have to come up with one (or more) ways to take a vacation with one another. If we stay at the Hotel Valencia for one night it's still a vacation :)

3. Become more aware of my health.

I have a severe addiction for French fries. If I eat one, I have to eat them all. French fries have a lot of sodium and they're fried, not a great combination for a healthy person. Okay, limit my French fry intake. Exercise for health, rather than for vanity. Usually I exercise to lose a little weight, but instead I should have a mindset that exercise is good for my heart. Okay, hit the gym 3 nights a week for 30 minutes each time. Cook excellent and low-fat meals. When I eat out I tend to eat much worse than if I cook at home. Plus I have tons of cookbooks that I can get great and healthy ideas from. Okay, make homemade meals 4 times a week and try a new recipe at least twice a month.

4. Do something new, every month.

I had a few fun adventures in 2009, from my first trip to Napa to biking along the Golden Gate. This year I'd like to seek out adventure wherever it may be! A few things I had in mind are going for a hike, indoor rock climbing, and learn to surf.

5. Be bold in my spirituality.

2009 was an incredible year for me, growing spiritually closer to God. In 2010, I want to do more about this, share God's love with my friends and family and even strangers, I'd love to help the community more and maybe even go on a missions trip. This year I want God to use me for His will, to spread His love to everyone I know.

So here I go, into 2010 with a few things I'd like to accomplish. Wish me luck!
